We have been in the woods for a couple of weeks, a repeat of last year’s work to fell and chop and chip.
We were joined by previous resident Harry Bix (and his band, Less Than 3), Henry Halpin (here for some work experience), the tree surgeons, and our regulars. 10 of us in all.
Lots of unwanted trees removed, lots of nice light coming in ready for the planting of a new generation.
We had snow a couple of weeks ago, the pond froze so we cut a whole in the ice and went for a refreshing dip.
The cafe is at its calmest.
And we’ve been using our new chainsaw mill.
